Malaysian Association For The Blind (MAB) – Accessibility Workshop for the Visually Disabled

I attended a workshop yesterday as a "web accessibility guru" organized by Khairul Yusof of http://foss.org.my. The workshop was a great opportunity to learn from visually disabled computer users, in fact 90% of the session was on obtaining feedback on all different aspects of IT from the end users perspective.

First get AcidRip:
sudo apt-get install acidrip
AcidRip will then be available under ”Multimedia” in the K Menu if you use KDE, GNOME will have placed a shortcut somewhere similar. AcidRip is a DVD ripping utility and we are going to use it to convert DVD data to an .avi movie file.
