Drupal Latest Members Module In Action

Drupal Latest Members Module In Action

I’ve just closed a few open issues and added bug fixes for Drupal’s latest members module. Now version 6 is stable I’m going to start planning a build for Drupal 7! Latest Members provides a block that shows all of the new members photos (aka user pictures). The block settings can be changed so the admin can choose how many user pictures get displayed.

Wordpress Comment Spam

Wordpress Comment Spam

Nuffnang Popups... blockedI’m having quite a bit of bother with Nuffnang adverts and I’m probably not alone in this.  First up if you are wondering why you are not making much money from the ads then one possible reason is that Nuffnang keeps serving them as popups.  Yes popups – that anoying thing that websites used to do over 10 years ago before people cared about usability.

WordPress Bug In “Subscribe To Comments” Plugin

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Subscribe To Comments Plugin

There is a bug in the WordPress plugin “Subscribe To Comments” whereby if you uncheck the option…

Do a CSS “clear” on the subscription checkbox/message (uncheck this if the checkbox/message appears in a strange location in your theme)

The option will not be saved when you submit the form.  This can cause layout / display problems with your design.  You can fix the problem manually for the time being by editing the file /wp-content/plugins/subscribe-to-comments/subscribe-to-comments.php.
