Kuala Selangor Nature Park, Malaysia - Wildlife Videos

Kuala Selangor Nature Park can be found at the mouth of Selangor River, in Selangor state, Malaysia. The nature park covers approximately 800 acres of mangroves and mudflats and is home to a wide variety of wildlife including Silver Leaf Monkeys, Monitor Lizards, Mudskippers, Fresh / Brackish water Crabs and Otters. There are chalets available for overnight visitors. The Kuala Selangor Nature Park is a great place to get up close to the wildlife that thrives in the coastal Mangrove habitat.

The Zunyi Museum, Guizhou, China

Zunyi Museum - Zunyi Conferance

December 2008 in Zunyi, Guizhou, China. Zunyi is the site of the famous Zunyi conference in which Mao Zedong rose to power as the leader of the Chinese communist party. Since the conference he ruled China until his death in the 1970’s.

The museum is the former site of the Zunyi conference and is popular with millions or tourists every year. There is a great traditional style Chinese house to explore which is filled with statues and photos. Plenty of history to learn.

me - hot and sweaty during the tripBored with the usual border crossing at Bukit Kayu Hitam, Malaysia and Sadao, Thailand and with the crossing at Padang Besar (Padang Basar to Thais) I decided to go for a more adventurous route!

There are a few main border crossing points betwen Malaysia and Thailand. The most popular is Bukit Kayu Hitam - and it is normally very busy and can be stressful. There are also crossing points in Kelantan at Jeli (very small) and near Kota Bahru.

Chumphon, Thailand

I cut my trip to Cambodia short - in Chumphon, Thailand! I found what was just the perfect place to let the ashes go into the sea. Chumphon is about half way to Cambodia from Kuala Lumpur.
