Exit Full Screen Mode In Terminal Server Client – KDE / Linux
December 12th, 2007 | by admin |
When using the terminal server client in full screen mode you can minimize / switch back out of the session without logging out / exiting the terminal server client by using the shortcut key command…
CTRL+ALT+ENTER
(Thats Ctrl Alt and Enter at the same time).
Thanks to Ubuntu community for this tip -

Forgot this needed to be tagged with the term tsclient / tsclient exit full screen mode. Now it will be easier to rediscover the keyboard shortcut

Hi Brad,
I’m not sure what’s going wrong there. Have you set the tsclient window as to always show “on top”? What version of Ubuntu are you using? You are running KDE or GNome? I have only tried this with KDE

Doesn’t work for me. Pressing the key combo mentioned does flip very quickly back to the host OS (Ubuntu), but then it goes back to my TS (Windows) host immediately.

Cool… thats what gets alot of people.
The man pages are pretty empty.. If you run
tsclient -h
You don’t get any info.

Just THANK YOU.
I was going to have problems in my fingers to test all possible key combinations to get nothing.
Even windows key + (SHIFT) + TAB does not work (I have TS Client in other Desktop).
Anyway, thanks again!

Welcome!
I forgot to say the obvious but also
CTRL+ALT+ENTER
