Weird Malaysian News This Week – Human Trafficking, Parent Criminals And Lower Crime Rates

Goh Ping Ming admitted this week to buying a Vietnamese wife from a selection of fresh human meat trafficked from Vietnam – because “she was the most pretty“.
Surprise surprise she ran away. Snatched from a riverbank in a poor rural area of Vietnam and exported like a product to Malaysia and promised wealth and happiness – she ended up with a dull faced old fishmonger from Selayang!
Goh Ping Ming’s even seeking help MCA Public Services and Complaints Department to help trace his “missing wife“.
Meanwhile the statistics department is saying there are fewer cases of human trafficking in Malaysia. The common sense department issued a statement saying Malaysians don’t know what human trafficking is – and there is nothing much wrong with Goh or the “Vietnamese bride agency’s” activities.

On another topic, up in Penang, federal CID director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Bakri Zinin said “if the public see a child crying in the company of an adult, they should tip off the police“. He also said “the public can help by memorizing the suspects appearance“.
So now I know what’s going on when Malaysians stop and stare at me endlessly every time my baby cries in public! No really – that public statement was seriously low on the intellectual scale – how embarrassing for him.
Finally one more weird story in Malaysia this week – the “drastic” 30% drop in Kuala Lumpurs crime rate. Naturally the police say it’s due to their brilliant hard work when interviewed. However I’ve just interviewed a criminal (anon) who gave a challenging account:
“The 30% drop in the crime rate is due to our increased patrols, deterring the police from their work. We have stepped up our efforts in fighting crime fighters and increased our budget allocations for bribes. In addition we have invested in more high tech means for transporting and selling our drug products and bought new improved weapons. Our popularity with the public through menacing knife crime has dropped to new levels and we are seeing fewer and fewer people turning to the police for support.”
